FAQs
What do I need to bring with me?
We recommend bringing water, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock and shoes that can get wet. Thongs and sandles are fine. Don’t forget to wear your swimmers too!
What if I have never kayaked before?
You will get comprehensive instructions on how to use the kayaks and snorkelling equipment. Most of our customers are first timers, so having no experience is no problem.
Can you fall out of the kayaks easily?
The kayaks we use are Aqua II’s, which are very stable and safe sit on top kayaks you can get. The Aqua II is designed with the beginner in mind, so falling out of these kayaks is very hard.
Is it an issue if I can't swim?
Everyone on our tour must be wearing a lifejacket. If you don’t know how to swim, please notify the tour guide and wear your life jacket at all times (even during snorkelling).
Where do you depart from?
The 3 hour Morning Dolphin Kayaking and Snorkeling Tour meets at 464 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters, look out for the AUSTRALIAN KAYAKING ADVENTURES mini van and kayak trailer along Marine Parade.
What fitness level is required?
If you are fit and healthy our tours are right for you.
If you are 20 weeks pregnant, we don’t recommend coming on our tours. Please get Doctors advice before coming on our kayaking tours.
Weight limited per person 110kg.
Weight limit per kayak is 200kg.
Do you supply all the equipment?
Yes. We supply all the equipment. All you need to bring is: – Swimmers – Sunglasses – Footwear that can get wet (eg. Thongs, sandals) – Hat – Towel – Sun block – Bottle of water
